Our Sparkling Madeleleine Muscaris has been crafted to be a light and 'playful' accompaniment to be enjoyed on  any occasion. This pale straw coloured fizz, gives flavours of peach, melon and orange zest, with a fragrant honeysuckle nose.

Our Sparkling Madeline Muscaris has been especially crafted to be a light playful accompaniment to any occasion. This pale straw coloured fizz gives flavours of peach, melon, and orange zest, with a fragrant and floral honeysuckle nose. While it will pair wonderfully with light desserts or as an aperitif, it can just as well be enjoyed on its own in the sunshine.

VITICULTURE

Vineyard: Steeped in 800 years of vine growing history, Redbank
Vineyard in its current form was replanted in 2012. It is located on the
south-facing slopes of the Wall Hills in Ledbury, Herefordshire.

Harvest: Handpicked.

  • Stainless steel, cool ferment (12- 15 Celsius), low intervention
  • Secondary fermentation in bottle -Traditional Method

PAIRING NOTES

So much fun! This gentle sparkling wine  is so versatile and will fit into any occasion, pre dinner drinks, birthdays, anniversaries or weddings! It pairs well  with spicy dishes, salads, light fish, and delicious desserts. 

Tasting Note

Clear lemon gold with green hues. Poached pear, sweet lime, and elderflower cordial on the nose. A luscious and textured mouthfeel is balanced by a fresh acidity showing gooseberry fool, nectarine, and herbaceous nettle and mint on the palate. 

Winemaking

Pressing: De-stemmed for a small amount of skin contact during pressing 
Fermentation: Stainless steel fermentation, thiol aromatic yeast strain 
Malo-lactic fermentation: Low diacetyl LAB, stopped before completion 
Maturation: Stainless steel on fine lees
