A balanced and complex barrel-aged Chardonnay. Fermented and matured for 8 months in 3-year-old French oak barriques with well-integrated, harmonious layers of fruit, spice and minerality. Representing the best Chardonnay from our vineyards in Herefordshire, this wine is drinking perfectly now in it's youth with potential for further ageing.

EXPECTED TO SHIP END OF JULY 2025

TASTING NOTE

Lemon gold and a silvery, pearlescent tone in the glass. Complex aromas of preserved lemon, baked Bramley apple, hazelnut cream, and oyster shell minerality. A bright, structured acidity on the palate and a rounded, silky texture reveals juicy citrus and orchard fruit, toasted vanilla spice, and a honeyed nuttiness. A layered and textural length
with a clean mineral finish.

PAIRING NOTES

Our Chardonnay is just the ticket, to sit down with friends, or enjoy chatting in the summer sunshine, It pairs perfectly and  enhances the delicate flavours of shellfish,  also  with poultry, especially when it is  prepared with cream-based sauces or herbs.

Tasting Note

Clear lemon gold with green hues. Poached pear, sweet lime, and elderflower cordial on the nose. A luscious and textured mouthfeel is balanced by a fresh acidity showing gooseberry fool, nectarine, and herbaceous nettle and mint on the palate.
